At MIDCARDS, we are big fans of the art on MTG cards. So much so, a big feature of our Instagram content is matching the cards with nail art.
After each month we will gather together our matches in a blog post, with a short explanation of how we would use each card in a Commander deck.

Mirym, Sentinel Wyrm
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A legendary creature with flying and ward 2 to copy non-token Dragons.
An added bonus making the token non-legendary to keep them both on the board.
Use as a Commander for a Dragon typal deck.

Blossoming Calm
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A low cost instant for hexproof and life gain.
Use the rebound ability for two turns of benefit.
Use in decks with White.


Blossom Prancer
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A 4/4 with reach that helps you look for an enchantment.
Get an enchantment to your hand from your top five cards when this creature enters.
No luck in finding one? Gain 4 life instead.
Use in an enchantment deck with Green.

Alchemist’s Assistant
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A 2/1 with lifelink.
Use the ability from the graveyard to give lifelink to a big creature later in the game.
Use in a life gain deck with Black.#

Traveling Botanist
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A creature to give you some card advantage.
Lands to hand and other cards may go into your graveyard.
Use in a landfall deck that makes use of the graveyard.

Rope
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A useful equipment to give a buff, reach and keep blocks limited.
Use as a clue to draw a card.
Use in decks with Green using clues.

Takenuma, Abandoned Mire
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A legendary land with a Channel ability.
Useful to return a creature or planeswalker from your graveyard to hand.
Use in creature decks with Black.
