At MIDCARDS, we are big fans of the art on MTG cards. So much so, a big feature of our Instagram content is matching the cards with nail art.
After each month we will gather together our matches in a blog post, with a short explanation of how we would use each card in a Commander deck.

Hexplate Wallbreaker
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A equipment for more than just a buff.
An additional combat phase is an added element to this card - just make sure the equipped creature attacks!
Use in equipment decks with Red.

Memories of Nibelheim - Stroke of Midnight
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A flexible removal spell.
Destroy a nonland permanent and compensate the owner with a 1/1 token. How kind.
Use in decks with White.

Vivi Ornitier
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A mana generator for a spell once during your turn.
One damage and a counter bonus for Vivi when you cast a noncreature spell.
Use as a Commander in a spellslinger deck.

Pixie Illusionist
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A cheap flying creature with a mana fixing ability.
Pay the kicker for two +1/+1 counters.
Use in any Blue/Green deck.

Choco-Comet
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A sorcery to deal as much damage as you can afford.
Get a bird with a love for lands too.
Use in landfall decks with Red.

Nature’s Embrace
Why use it in a Commander deck?
An aura for a creature or land.
+2/+2 for a creature than needs a buff or some ramp for a land.
Use in decks with Green.

Molten Monstrosity
Why use it in a Commander deck?
Potential for a cheap creature with trample.
Reduce the cost with the power of another creature.
Use in decks with Red and big creatures.

Pactdoll Terror
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A artifact creature to gain you some life.
Gain a life when another of your artifacts enter. With a handy loss of life for your opponents too.
Use in artifact decks with Black.

Sea of Clouds
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A dual land that will enter untapped if you have two or more opponents.
Use in decks with White and Blue.

Veil of Summer
Why use it in a Commander deck?
An instant to prevent your spells being countered this turn, as well as protection from blue and black spells.
Play after an opponent has cast a blue or black spell for an added bonus of drawing a card.
Use in decks with Green.

Mana Vault
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A low cost artifact that taps for three colourless mana.
Find a way to untap it to prevent 1 damage being dealt to you. Or maybe that damage would be useful...
Use in artifact decks.

Grim Tutor
Why use it in a Commander deck?
A sorcery to search for a card.
Lose 3 life - totally worth it.
Use in decks with Black.

Underworld Dreams
Why use it in a Commander deck?
An enchantment to damage an opponent each time they draw a card.
Use in decks with Black.
